Two COVID-19 related deaths and 624 new cases this evening - fewer than five in Kerry

The Department of Health has reported two COVID-19 related deaths this evening.

As of midnight last night, the Department had been notified of 624 new cases of the virus.

Fewer than five of these were in Kerry, which now has the lowest 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 people with 33.2.

That figure nationally is 159.9.
