Walk-in testing at the Tralee COVID-19 test centre has been extended until next Tuesday.
The testing is available to anyone over 16 who does not have COVID-19 symptoms.
No appointment is necessary, but people are asked to bring photo ID and need a mobile phone number to receive their results.
The centre at Ballymullen Barracks is open from 9.30am to midday and 2pm to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and 2pm to 5pm on Sunday.
Acting Director of Public Health Dr Anne Sheahan said the level of COVID-19 infection in the Tralee area remains low but she encouraged people to take the test to help contain the small number of cases in the region.
