The Tralee driving test centre is to be expanded to clear the backlog of people waiting for tests due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over 100,000 people are waiting to do their test; almost 3,000 people in Kerry are on the list.
Essential workers are currently being prioritised for tests.

The Road Safety Authority has confirmed it will establish several new test centres and expand others, including Tralee, to help ease pressure on the system.
The RSA is also hiring forty additional testers.
