Tralee Cllr Mikey Sheehy has been selected to take part in the EU Young Elected Politician programme 2020.
The Fianna Fáil representative was elected to Tralee Municipal District of Kerry County Council in last year’s local elections.
He’s one of 150 politicians selected from over 600 applications to take part in the week-long event next month.

One of the main aims of the programme is to allow participants gain a greater understanding of how to seize opportunities for their region through EU initiatives.
