A status yellow warning for thunder will come into effect for Kerry tomorrow.
The warning is in place for all of the country from 4pm tomorrow (Thursday) until 9am on Friday.
Met Eireann is warning of heavy thunderstorms tomorrow night, they will bring severe downpours, hail and spot flooding.

The forecaster is also advising that due to the localised nature of thunderstorms some parts of the country will remain dry.
