A further three people with COVID-19 have died and there’ve been another 254 cases confirmed this evening.
Of these five are in Kerry, while 136 are in Dublin, 20 are in Donegal, 13 in Louth and 12 are in Wicklow.
The remaining cases are spread across 17 counties.
The death toll here now stands at 1,788, while a total of 31,799 people have contracted the virus since the outbreak began.
Of the cases notified today:
- 115 are men / 133 are women
- 65% are under 45 years of age
- 61% are confirmed to be associated with outbreaks or are close contacts of a confirmed case
- 24 cases have been identified as community transmission
The county-by-county breakdown is correct as of Monday at midnight and shows the number of cases in Kerry has now reached 357.
