A Tralee businessman who raised €16,000 to build a well in Kenya has officially opened it today.
Dan Horan, from Scartaglen travelled to the rural village of Kitale for the opening of the Kerry Well.
The new water supply will help hundreds in deprivation in Northern Kenya.

Mr. Horan says the benefits of the well are enormous.
