The playground in Knockreer, Killarney will be closed for the next six working days.
Kerry County Council says the temporary closure is to facilitate repairs and a minor upgrade in the playground, which were delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
According to the council, the playground has seen a significant increase in use as a result of the pandemic, and these works will facilitate safe enjoyment of the facility for the summer.

Works will take place from Tuesday May 4th to Friday the 7th this week, and on Monday the 10th and Tuesday the 11th next week.
