A Tralee teenager has appeared before court today in relation to allegedly racially abusing former Arsenal and England footballer Ian Wright.
The teenager appeared before today's sitting of Tralee District Court.
The incident occurred in May of this year and Mr Wright posted the abusive messages he had received on his twitter account, resulting in widespread condemnation.

A male teenager later presented himself to Tralee Garda Station and was interviewed in relation to the incident.
The charges were expected to relate to harassment and breaches of the Wireless and Telegraphy Act.
He has been remanded on continuing bail to November 18th.
