A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Kerry.

The warning will come into effect tomorrow at 12pm, and is expected to last for 24 hours.

Met Éireann has issued an advisory for the entire country that flooding is likely between today and Thursday, as river levels are already high and land is waterlogged.

Current indications suggest Munster and Leinster will be worst hit.
