St John of Gods is to defer its exit from the provision of services in Kerry.

The St John of God Community Services has agreed to take part in a sustainability impact assessment with the HSE which will provide a basis for the organisation to continue its important service delivery role in line with a reformed model of care.
Minister Foley said that is welcome news for service users and their families and a positive step forward to securing the provision of vital services across Kerry.

She thanked Ministers Stephen Donnelly and Anne Rabbitte for their support on the matter.
