Sport broadcaster Paudie Palmer passes away in hospital following hit-and-run

GAA broadcaster Paudie Palmer has passed away following a hit-and-run last week.

The incident occurred near his home in West Cork on December 29th.

The 65 year old, originally from Templenoe, passed away early this morning.

The well-known commenter worked for Cork radio station C103.

A man has appeared in court and been remanded in custody on four charges relating to the hit-and-run
