Kerry and Cork was the most popular region outside of Dublin for foreign direct investment last year.
According to the latest EY Europe Attractiveness Survey, 15% of the total projects in Ireland in 2022 were in the Southwest.
EY says this success is built on the highly skilled workforce in the southwest, and the vibrant ecosystem of businesses and educational facilities.
