Self-employed people in Kerry are being urged to apply for the Enterprise Support Grant.
The grant, worth up to €1,000 per person, is aimed at sole traders such as plumbers, electricians and taxi drivers who do not pay commercial rates and don’t qualify for the Government’s Restart Grant Plus Scheme.
Deputy Government Chief Whip and Kerry Fine Gael TD, Brendan Griffin is strongly encouraging the self-employed to apply for the grant to help with operating costs or staff salaries so they can continue in business.
Anyone wishing to apply for the grant can download the application form on www.welfare.ie and, when completed should be sent to their local Intreo Centre.
