A search is resuming this morning for an angler missing from Kerry Head since around 8.30pm last night.
Two people are believed to have entered the water at Kerry Head, one was able make it ashore and raise the alarm.
Two coast guard helicopters attended at different times and local rescue services searched until 1 am this morning.
The search has now resumed and involves the LE Niamh which has gone to the area, Glenderry and Ballybunion coast guard units, and Fenit RNLI Lifeboat.
It is being co-ordinated by Valentia Coast Guard Radio Station.
