A Kerry group is to receive funding to run a locally-led farm and community biodiversity initiative.
It is among 24 projects nationwide being funded over the next 18 months.
Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Senator Pippa Hackett said given the response to the open call for applications, the budget had been increased to €3 million.
