Two samurai swords, cash and a quantity of suspected drugs have been seized by Gardai in Killarney.
As part of an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity in the town, Gardaí carried out searches at four houses in Killarney.
The planned searches were led by the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit, with the assistance of the Southern Region Dog Unit and Killarney Gardaí.
During the course of the searches Gardaí seized two samurai swords and a flick knife, over €6,500 in cash, €230 in counterfeit €10 notes, €540 of cannabis herb, €100 of heroin, Xanax and MDMA.
They also recovered weighing scales, plastic bags and mobile phones.
All of the suspected drugs will now be sent for analysis.
No arrests have been made but Gardaí say they are following a definite line of enquiry.
