A rescue took place on Carrauntoohil earlier today.
Alarm was raised with Valentia Coast Guard at approximetly 1230pm.
Rescue Helicopter 115 was tasked to assist a person who had suffered a fall.

The injured party was taken directly to University Hospital Kerry by the helicopter.
