The ongoing road works in Rathmore will continue until the end of June.
The works are part of a €1.2m investment in a Safety Scheme and Village Enhancement Programme.
Kerry County Council says every effort is being made to keep disruption to a minimum.

Fianna Fail councillor Niall Kelleher says the work underground has been complete and the roadworks are reduced to weekdays.
