A public webinar will take place next week on proposed Tralee town centre enhancement works.
The online presentation will showcase what the council has planned for funding allocated under the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund.
The next phase of construction in Tralee will see a continuation of works on the Mall and those currently underway on Russell Street and Bridge Street.
Public realm improvements will be carried out along six streets and junctions: Staughton’s Row and Godfrey Place, New Road and the Island of Geese, Lower Rock Street, Lower Castle Street, Bill Booley’s Lane and Bridge Lane.
The proposed works will provide pedestrian pathways between the Island of Geese site and the town centre.
Road widths are being reduced to slow traffic movement and enhance pedestrian safety.
The proposals have been published on Kerry County Council’s website and submissions must be made by May 14th.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday, May 4th at 8.00pm and attendees must register in advance.
