President Michael D Higgins is officially opening the Young Adult Book Festival today.
The event is part of Listowel Writers' Week and over the next three days will hear from writers, poets, film-makers and journalists.
Among the speakers are Bernard Brogan and Pulitzer Prize winner Malachy Browne.
