President of Ireland Michael D Higgins is visiting Kerry today.
He is in the county for the Dingle Literary Festival, which begins today and runs until Sunday.
President Higgins will discuss his most recent publication 'Reclaiming the European Street', at a sold-out event this evening.

The event is taking place at the Dingle Skellig Hotel from 7.30pm.
