Potential for flooding during status yellow rain warning in Kerry

Kerry could be hit by localised flooding as a status yellow rainfall warning comes into place this evening.

The warning is valid from 6 o'clock this evening until 6pm tomorrow.

Met Éireann says persistent and sometimes heavy rainfall may cause localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.

Meanwhile, a status orange rain warning is in place for Cork at the same time.
