Kerry County Council is advising road users to expect poor conditions on all routes this morning as heavy rain and winds continue to batter the county.
A status orange weather alert from Met Eireann for rain remains in place until 9pm and there are reports of spot flooding and surface water in all areas.
A yellow wind warning bringing gusts up to 110 kilometres per hour is in place until 6pm.
Killarney Gardaí say the Fossa road is down to one lane due to flooding, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and avoid the area if possible.
There is bad flooding on the R569 road at Cahir National School - this road should be avoided.
There is also flooding on the Rathmore to Killarney road.
There are reports of a tree down on the Dromid side of Ballaghsheen and a telephone line down on the Lisselton to Ballylongford road.
