Permission sought to harvest wild seaweed in North Kerry

Permission is being sought to harvest wild seaweed in North Kerry.

Ballyheigue-based Gráinne Na Mara has applied to the Minister of Housing, Planning and Local Government for a foreshore licence to harvest wild seaweed at Dromatoor Pier, Ballyheigue.

A copy of the application and the relevant maps are available to view in Tralee Garda Station or on the department's website.

Submissions or observations will be accepted up to June 10th.
