Planning permission is being sought for a campsite and glamping pods near a West Kerry beach.
Mark, George and Zara Hussain are seeking planning permission for the development on a 6.7-acre site, which is adjacent to Inch Beach.
Retention permission is being sought for both an existing short-term stay camping site and renovation works to existing toilets and site.
Permission is being sought to construct an extension to the existing toilets and a camping site building, which will comprise a reception, campsite shop, staff rooms and associated rooms.
It’s also proposed to construct an access road, eight glamping pods, additional camping spaces on a grass area, along with landscaping and site works.
Permission is also sought to construct two wastewater treatment tanks and decommission the existing septic tank on the 6.7-acre site (2.8-hectare site).
Kerry County Council is due to make a decision by June 16th.
