The people of Kerry are being urged to support the county’s Olympians.
Three Kerry athletes will participate in the Tokyo games which get underway next week.
Killorglin’s Monika Dukarska and Aileen Crowley will take part in the rowing and David Kenny from Ballyhar competes in the 20-kilometre walk
The Cathaoirleach of Kerry County Council, Cllr Jimmy Moloney has extended his best wishes to all of the athletes saying it is a tremendous achievement and honour to participate in the most prestigious international event.
He is asking people in the county to show their support online and by flying Kerry and Irish flags.
