Patrol car damaged after gardaí called to a South Kerry beach

A patrol car was damaged after gardaí were called to a South Kerry beach, following reports of people gathering.

The Garda Press Office says gardaí attended Ballinskelligs Beach at 11pm on April 3rd, after they had received reports of youths gathering on the beach.

As gardaí approached, the youths fled.

When gardaí returned to their patrol car, they found the windscreen had been damaged.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
