Pádraig Rice from West Kerry has been elected to the Dáil for the Social Democrats.
Mr Rice from Camp claimed the last seat in Cork South-Central – the constituency of Tánaiste and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin.
It’s also the former constituency of EU Commissioner Michael McGrath.

Back in June, Pádraig Rice won a seat in the local elections in Cork city.
