Over €800,000 has been allocated to 21 Kerry roads to address the impacts of climate change and severe weather.
It is part of a national package worth €17.3 million announced today by Transport Minister Eamon Ryan and Minister of State Hildegarde Naughton.
The funding has been welcomed by Education Minister and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD, Norma Foley, Fine Gael TD, Brendan Griffin and independent deputy, Danny Healy-Rae.

21 regional and local roads across Kerry have been selected for funding totaling €806,675.
€125,000 is allocated to replace a culvert, which gives rise to flooding on the R551 road in North Kerry.
€80,000 will be used for the construction of a retaining wall adjacent to the Flesk River at Bowlers Garage.
The same amount has been allocated for roadside drains, gullies and pipes at Kilnanare in Firies.
