Shannon Airport says it's expecting a 12 per cent increase on passenger numbers during the St. Brigid's Day Bank Holiday.
Over 21 thousand people are due to travel through the airport this weekend.
Popular destinations include Faro, Lanzarote, Malaga, Tenerife and Alicante, as well as London and Liverpool.
