Over 2,000 homes in Kerry will be charged local property tax for the first time next year.
That's according to figures in today's Irish Independent, which were provided by the Revenue Commissioners.
The paper reports that over 100,000 homes built since 2013 will be charged property tax for the first time in 2022 nationally, which will follow the revaluation of the local property tax process in November of this year.
According to reports, 2,200 of those new homes to be hit with property tax are in Kerry.
Councillors in Kerry will vote to determine the rate of local property tax for the county on Monday.
