Over 1,300 speeding fines paid in Kerry this year

1,368 speeding fines have been paid in Kerry so far this year.

The figures cover up to the end of June.

Last year, 3,191 drivers caught speeding on Kerry roads paid fines.

People caught speeding have the option not to pay the fine and proceed to court.

Minister for Justice Helen McEntee provided the information, following a query from Sinn Féin TD Paul Donnelly.
