Over 1,300 dog licences issued in Kerry in January

Over 1,300 (1,377) dog licences were issued in Kerry in January this year.

Figures compiled by Kerry County Council show that three fines relating to dogs were issued in the month.

26 dogs were rehomed in the county during January.

The council’s dog, litter wardens and enforcement officers continue to carry out patrols with a view to reducing the level of dog fouling.
