Over 12,000 dog licenses issued in Kerry in first nine months 2024

Over 12,000 (12,026) dog licenses were issued in Kerry during the first nine months of the year.

Figures compiled by Kerry County Council, show that 33 fines relating to dogs were issued during the same period.

The council also re-homed 113 dogs between January and the end of September this year.

Overall last year, 15,692 dog licenses were issued, and 155 dogs were re-homed by the council.
