Over 10,600 dog licences issued in Kerry in first eight months of 2024

Over 10,600 (10,638) dog licences were issued in Kerry during the first eight months of the year.

Figures compiled by Kerry County Council, show that 30 fines relating to dogs were issued during the same period.

The council also rehomed 101 dogs between January and the end of August this year.

Overall last year, over 15,000 (15,692) dog licences were issued in Kerry, and 155 dogs were rehomed by the council.
