Over 100 Kerry groups joined the National Spring Clean campaign this year.
The initiative is Ireland’s official anti-litter campaign, and is operated by An Taisce, in partnership with local authorities.
Almost 6,000 volunteers from Kerry participated in organised clean-ups around the county.

Nationally, around 2,800 tonnes of litter were collected by volunteers during the month of April.
