Kerry Airport says there's been a noticeable increase in the number of people travelling through the facility today.
A spokesperson for the Farranfore airport says over 100 people flew to Alicante in Portugal.
There's also been an increase in the numbers travelling to other destinations.
Around 70 people departed Kerry for Stansted today.
More than 100 have also flown to Luton today - last week, flights to this destination carried an average of 60 to 80 passengers.
From today, non-essential international travel is allowed resume.
Ireland also began using the EU's digital COVID certificate system from today.
It means those who're vaccinated, who've recovered from COVID-19 in the past six months, or who have a negative test can travel within the EU.
