There are calls for GAA clubs named after Irish nationalist John Mitchel to consider changing their name, due to his links to slavery.

He was an Irish revolutionary during the 19th century - most famous for his newspaper 'The United Irishman'.

One of the clubs named after him is the John Mitchels club in Tralee.
