New chair of Kerry Co-op elected

A new chairman of the board of Kerry Co-op has been elected.

Denis Carroll, who lives near Killarney, succeeds Mundy Hayes who stepped down at the end of last month.

Mr Carroll, who's been on the board of Kerry Co-op for a number of years, is also well known for his involvement with the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers' Association (ICMSA).
