New buses will give residents of a Kerry disability centre more access to their local community.

Residents of St Mary of the Angels in Beaufort will now be able to go out into the community for appointments, to undertake activities and for overnight stays without worrying about missing the bus.

HSE Cork Kerry Disability Services has welcomed the allocation of once-off national funding for these new buses, saying they’ll help users obtain essential skills.
