New broadband connections points on Valentia

Two new broadband connections have been placed on Valentia Island.

The new connection points are a key element of the Government's National Broadband Plan.

They are located at Chapeltown Community Centre and the Cable Station.

Deputy Government Chief Whip Brendan Griffin and Kerry Fine Gael TD says the points are among the first premises to be connected under the national plan and will provide communities with free high-speed internet access at publicly accessible sites.
