Motorists advised to expect surface water on roads around Kerry

Motorists are being advised to drive with extra care this morning and to expect surface water on roads around Kerry.

Kerry County Council is advising people to expect difficult driving conditions, to slow down and not to drive through deep water.

A status yellow rainfall warning has now ended.

However, a number of roads throughout the county had significant surface water last night following heavy rainfall and the council is urging people to take care.
