Mobile water tankers are still in place in two Kerry towns for people affected by the major water mains burst last week.
A major burst occurred on the Kerry Central Regional Water Supply Scheme six days ago, leaving around 50,000 homes and businesses without water or with very low pressure across the county.
The pipe was repaired in the early hours of last Wednesday morning, but supply has not yet returned for some homes and businesses located on higher ground or the extremity of the network.
Tankers providing alternative water supplies are in place today in Tralee at O'Donnell's Bar in Mounthawk and the Brandon Car Park, and Killarney in the Rock Road Car Park.
Irish Water is appealing to people in Kerry to conserve water to help with the restoration of water supply to all those affected, and says night-time restrictions may be needed in places over the coming days.
