A west Kerry woman says she is relieved and grateful after being reunited with a young raven she was training.
Orion, a four-and-a-half-month-old common raven, had been released on a flight on August 15th but failed to return to his home in Lispole.
Andi Chewning, who works at Kingdom Falconry in Dingle and had been training Orion, sought help on Radio Kerry and social media to find him.
She also spent hours driving around in a bid to find Orion.
The raven was spotted on a fence by a farmer in Lispole yesterday and to Andi's great relief was still in the area when she arrived:
