Minister confident substitute teaching panel will work well

The Education Minister, Norma Foley is confident the substitute panel for school teachers will work well.

Funding for more than 1,000 sub teachers is being made available as part of the Government's reopening plan.

Teaching unions have raised concerns there won't be enough to cover urban areas.

But Minister Norma Foley thinks there will be sufficient cover.
