Met Éireann upgrades weather warning for Kerry

A status orange wind warning has been issued for Kerry and Cork effective from 8 pm tonight.

Damaging gusts of up to 120 kilometres an hour can be expected.

Meanwhile, a yellow wind warning is in effect across the entire country until 7am tomorrow.

Gusts of up to 110 kilometres an hour are expected along with heavy rain.
