A Kerry medical scientist is appealing to the government to listen to patients impacted by industrial action.
Mairéad Ní Mhuimhneacháin is one of 44 medical scientists at University Hospital Kerry, and is a committee member of the Medical Laboratory Scientists Association.
Speaking on the picket line today, she called on the government to act now on the 2001 recommendation that aims to give medical scientists and biochemists pay parity.
