The man who died following an alleged fatal assault in Castleisland will be laid to rest today.
Paudie O’Connor, who was aged in his 40s and from Scartaglen, was found with fatal injuries outside a house in An Caisleán Mór around 12.30am on Friday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr O’Connor’s funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen, with burial taking place afterwards in Scartaglen cemetery.
