A man remains in garda custody following a serious assault in Castleisland on Friday.
The assault took place at a house on Limerick Road in the town on Friday afternoon.
A man in his 30s was arrested and detained at Tralee garda station, where he remains in custody this morning.

A woman in her mid-40s was taken to University Hospital Kerry, where she's being treated for injuries she sustained in the assault.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
